Step 1:
Slide your existing metal badge from your old wallet and straight into the replacement executive wallet. Your Badge will be mounted on a thin plastic mounting plate (known as poly-prop), your badge should remain mounted on this poly-prop during this process. Occasionally, the poly-prop may require trimming with a pair of scissors before sliding into new wallet.
Step 2:
Insert supplied neck chain behind the badge for storage, between the two layers of poly-prop. This prevents leather imprinting.
Elastic cord use
Use 1. The elastic is used to hold one section of the wallet closed, if desired. Either preventing unwanted ‘flashing of freddie’, or keep personal items closed when presenting ID.
Use 2. When wallet is worn around neck as a Police ID using supplied neck chain, the elastic cord is used to keep wallet folded open and securely around chain.
This additional service that some choose to purchase for an additional $5 require inserting as follows:
Step 1: Insert 1 of the 2 disc set behind the badge/ leather cut out section, as seen in picture on left.
Step 2: Line up with the ID window and the other disc, using a small amount of sticky tape to hold in exact position behind the ID card. Once the magnets are lined up with a positive close, ID card can be reinserted into normal ID section of wallet.
The leather is a high grade leather, we recommend a light use of leather conditioner such as doubin. This can be worked in with a cloth in circular motion until absorbed.
Feedback from one of our customers stated that when he had some light fraying of material on the side of his wallet, he used a lighter to clean up the edges, he swears by this technique.
Replacement clear sleeves are available for the ID window to give your wallet a face lift, if required. Refer to "Product Range" Page.
